Rumpus

Rumpus provides a fun, free, rhythmic space
to be liberated from everyday life. Enter into a natural, tribal, and
energetic place where the rhythm takes hold and being part of it becomes
second nature. Using elements of the world around us to feel our
rhythm, we will be creating a unified sound that will be heard.

Forgetting everyday life, if only for a moment; losing yourself in the
powerful energy; exploring and playing instruments; beating on drums; or
shaking shakers. There is a Rumpus in everyone – can you feel
yours?Rumpus is a platform for others to explore their own music. At
Rumpus, we believe that there is an inner musician in everyone. Rumpus
is an attempt to coax that musician into being while allowing the people
who are already familiar with that muse to bring it to life.

We believe that many are distracted by to-do lists and anxieties,
resulting in feelings of lost time,stress, or fears that we just can’t
seem to release. Rumpus is more than just an event. It is a
representation of who we are. It is an opportunity to share in the
rhythm that keeps you alive.

Rumpus will take place during Food Not Bombs.
