Preparing for the Transition from School to Adult Life: The Basics

Connecticut Parent Advocacy Center is offering a free workshop for students with disabilities, their parents, and educators entitled, "Preparing for the Transition from School to Adult Life:The Basics." Workshop participants will gain a better understanding of transition planning and how they can become active participants in the process. Information about the legal requirements of IDEA, the availability of adult service agencies, and options and opportunities after high school will be shared.
