“Paws and Read” Sponsored by Otakus at Russell Library

Otakus!, Russell Library’s anime and manga group is
interested in all things Japanese. This special program for children 6-10 years
old will be held on Saturday, November
23, 10am in the Activity Room at Russell Library, 123 Broad Street,
Middletown.   Important beliefs in the two most popular
religions in Japan, Buddhism and Shinto, are compassion and the
interconnectedness and reverence of all life. With that in mind, Otakus is
pleased to sponsor Paws and Read, so
bring your favorite books or check out some of ours and practice your reading
skills by reading to a Certified Pet Partner dog.  Drop by and enjoy the fun.  No registration is needed.
