Middletown Vigil for Inequality

The Vigils for Inequality, on Tuesday April 8th, will be a statewide day of action to highlight growing inequality in Connecticut. We will come together in cities and towns all over the state to demand action to create an economy that works for everyone, not just the rich.

The good news is that we can do something to address this widespread problem. The Connecticut Generally Assembly is considering several bills that can help build a fair economy and help alleviate poverty including:

- Holding large corporations accountable for poverty wages and stealing wages
- Creating a 'retirement for all' savings plan that will allow everyone to retire with security
- Finding real solutions to the student debt crisis
