MARC presents The Curing Fox

Nearly one year ago MARC Community Resources and Oddfellows Playhouse partnered to implement a new program to provide theater arts training to MARC consumers.

Over the past year, consumers have learned many theatrical skills, including Beginning Acting, Mask Theater, and Comedy and Improvisation.  In addition to having fun, the arts training has helped them develop collaborative ensemble skills, become more comfortable with public speaking,  learn to better communicate ideas, and express their imaginations and emotions.

For more than a month, MARC consumers have been hard at work on their next project and are excited to share it with the community.  On Friday, February 14, 2014 the participants in this program will present their adaptation of The Curing Fox, a Native American tale about shamanistic healing journeys.  "This acting group is sure to impress.  They are the most enthusiastic and dedicated group of individuals; they love this and so will you," said MARC President/CEO Liz Warner.
