This class invites those who are new to yoga, as well as those who would enjoy a flowing class offered in a gentle manner, to explore Yin/Yang flow. After an opening meditation, we move into several yin postures to release the deeper connective tissues of the body and to develop a meditative mind. We then begin to engage the muscular body to strengthen and stretch. We will learn to move with integrity from the center of the body in a safe and mindful way. We will utilize insights from multiple philosophic schools in order to bring our practice off the mat and into our daily lives. Class size will be small, so that each student may receive the benefits of individual attention and so that I may better support you on your journey into yoga.
