Mustard's Retreat Concert at russell Library

Mustard’s Retreat, the classic folk duo with David Tamulevich and Michael Hough, will perform on Sunday, March 3 at 2pm in the Hubbard Room at Russell Library, 123 Broad Street, Middletown.  With a repertoire that ranges from vivid ballads to gentle love songs, tall tales and smart goofy parodies, the classic folk duo known as Mustard’s Retreat (David Tamulevich and Michael Hough) have been endearing themselves to family audiences for over thirty years. Thirty years is not a long time in the life of a human being, a tree or a piece of music.  But in the fickle world of musical partnerships, thirty years is a long time, and Mustard’s Retreat recently celebrated that notable anniversary.  What’s their secret to a happy musical “marriage”?  Probably the fun, the lively spirits and the friendly warmth they bring whenever they perform.  Everything Mustard’s Retreat does on stage is designed to engage its audience, whatever age.
