Library 101: Finding Our Way Through Dewey

 ,   Add to calendar
 Middletown  See map

All children ages 8 and older are invited to this program either on Thursday, January 10 or 24 at 4pm in Meeting Room 3 at Russell Library, 123 Broad Street, Middletown.   Have you ever noticed the numbers on the spine of library books, particularly non-fiction books? These numbers are essentially the book’s address, where the book belongs on the shelves, and they are known as the Dewey number. Without them, no one would be able to find anything.  How do I look for or find the books that I want?   No registration is required.
