On Saturday, October 13th at 6:30PM The Church of the Open Door will be hosting a FREE movie night for the community. We will be showing the movie Fireproof starring Kirk Cameron. The movie will be outside (in the event of inclement weather, we will move it inside). You are encouraged to bring a blanket to sit on and if you desire a picnic dinner. Popcorn, candy and water will be provided free of charge.

We are also offering FREE CHILD CARE for children ages 0 - 6th grade. We will be providing pizza, games, activities and a movie for the children. The child care will be inside. Please register for the child care ASAP because space is limited. Child care will open at 6:00PM.
Please RSVP for the movie so we can plan for the snacks, and register for the child care by going to http://fireproof.churchoftheopendoorct.org

In addition to the movie, we will be offering the "Fireproof Your Marriage" seminar beginning on Sunday October 14th from 10:30-11:30AM following our regular 9:00AM worship service. The seminar is a 6 week study that will help strengthen and/or revitalize your marriage. It is also very valuable for dating and engaged couples. There is a small fee for the seminar, which only covers the cost of the materials. There is also children's Sunday School at the same time that you are welcome to bring your kids to, so you don't need to worry about a babysitter. The seminar will end on Sunday November 18th. You can register for the seminar by going to the same website http://fireproof.churchoftheopendoorct.org or you can register for it at the movie.

We hope to see you at the movie or the seminar or both!
