DAVE DOWNS HOSTS OPEN MIC AT THE NEST IN MIDDLETOWN FRIDAY NIGHT/THE RUST'D KEYS PLAY EASTER SUNDAY BRUNCH AT HIGHER GROUNDS, EAST HAMPTON.

     THE NEST, at
129 Church Street, Middletown, CT. 06457 (860-788-2736),  located right down the hill from Wesleyan
University,  proudly announces its very first installment of  ACOUSTIC OPEN MIC NIGHT, this Friday,
April 18th, from 9:00 – 11:30 p.m.

     Your
congenial host every Friday night beginning April 18th will be me,  Dave Downs-
Songwriter, Performer and CEO of The
Highly Unsuccessful Songwriters’ Association
.  I’ll begin each night with a few songs, then
open the mic to the evening’s festivities.
Sign up will be required.

When it comes to great food, a full bar,
snappy conversation and the best looking bartenders anywhere, The Nest remains the area’s best kept
secret, nestled in the City’s comely hills, away from Main Street’s madding crowd.  Come by Friday night, April 18th,
with a song in your heart, or a poem on your lips, or an axe to grind, and an
empty stomach. We won’t disappoint.

(aka Diane Kozikowski and I) performing
at The Higher Grounds’ Easter Sunday Brunch,
at 70 Main Street, East Hampton, CT, 06424 (860-467-6634).  Come hungry cuz the food’s amazing, and it’s

do them.
