Join Middletown Urban Gardens and the North End Action Team at the Ferry Street Community Garden (located next to 33 Ferry Street, right off of Main Street) on Sunday from 12-3 p.m., for a day of planting flower bulbs, cover cropping, sharing hot food, playing games and making crafts with kids.
Middletown residents and Wesleyan students, young and old alike, will join together to help beautify the garden and build community.
If you're interested in urban gardening, food justice or having your own space to garden, come to this event! Wear clothes that you don't mind getting dirty and bring a water bottle.
