Clean Water Paddle

Do you ever wonder how clean the water is when you're out on the river? Join the Connecticut River Watershed Council and the Connecticut River Coastal Conservation District for a paddle on the Mattabesset and CT Rivers on Saturday, August 10. Together we will explore efforts in the region to keep our rivers clean, learn where to find the most current water quality information, and enjoy the beauty of this ecologically rich and internationally significant area. Bring your own boat or contact the Connecticut River Watershed Council to reserve a boat for FREE. We are able to offer boats for free thanks to a generous grant from The Rockfall Foundation.

The paddle will depart at 8:30am from the Mattabesset River Canoe/Kayak Trail launch in Cromwell, CT and return to Harbor Park in Middletown, CT at approximately 11am. For more information or to register contact CRWC at 413-772-2020 x204 or email amrozinski@ctriver.org. Life vests are required. Heavy rain cancels. Cost: $5.
