Blood Drive

Over the holiday season, AAA expects to provide emergency roadside assistance to 3.76 million motorists, but on Tuesday, December 31 North America’s largest motoring organization is providing another kind of emergency assistance. AAA is hosting a blood drive featuring the American Red Cross Save-A-Life Bus at its Cromwell office at 34 Shunpike Road from 8:45 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

All blood donors will receive a free copy of DreamWorks Animation’s 3-D racing comedy, Turbo. Those interested in scheduling an appointment to donate can call 1-800-RED-CROSS or visit redcrossblood.org. Refreshments will be provided to donors.

In addition to this special event, all AAA offices in Connecticut have information on becoming an organ and tissue donor and offer donor registration during the driver’s license renewal process.
