Baseball Before the Civil War at Russell Library

Aaron Krerowicz is the featured speaker
for this program to be held at 7pm on
Thursday, September 26
in the Hubbard Room at Russell Library, 123 Broad
Street, Middletown.  Although legend
cites Abner Doubleday as "The Father of Baseball", historical evidence
clearly indicates otherwise. This 60-minute multimedia presentation will
observe and discuss the origins and early development of America's national
pastime.

 Aaron Krerowicz graduated with a
Bachelor's Degree from Butler University, a Master's degree from Boston
University, and moved to Connecticut in 2010 to pursue graduate study of music
at the Hartt School of the University of Hartford. In addition to his musical
endeavors, his recent research also includes baseball. Aaron's spring 2013
lecture series in West Hartford on baseball history proved so successful that
it has expanded to include Middletown's Adult & Continuing Education
Program this fall. For additional information, visit his website: www.AaronKrerowicz.com
