The Art Guild of Middletown's Tenth Annual Juried Art Exhibition

The Art Guild of Middletown will hold its Tenth Annual Juried Art Exhibit at the Center for the Arts, Wesleyan University, Ezra and Cecile Zilkha South Gallery from June 7th to June 15th. The Reception is Friday, June 7th from 7 pm to 9 pm. The Exhibit will be open from 1 pm to 4 pm Saturday, June 8th to Saturday, June 15th. The Gallery is closed on Sundays. The purpose is to provide opportunities for area artists, to provide arts enrichment for the community and to create partnerships in our community. The exhibit is free of charge and open to the public. All of the art guilds in the surrounding area from New Haven to Hartford have been invited to participate. Are you an artist? Consider joining The Art Guild of Middletown, exhibit your work, participate in local juried exhibits and get to know other artists who share your interests. Come to monthly art demonstrations and learn how to make drawings or paintings in pastel, watercolor, oil or acrylic. Learn about color, paint, composition, design, artists' tools, framing, etc! These demonstrations are not exclusive to members-they are open to all so come join the fun! Share your talent with us! Attend our workshops and receive excellent teachings, hands-on experience and camaraderie. The Middletown Art Guild is a non-profit group of professional and amateur artists and patrons of the visual arts. Our artist members work in a variety of media including acrylic, sculpture, charcoal, collage, graphices, oil, pastel and watercolor. The Guild provides opportunities to exchange creative ideas and business information and offers projects of interest to artists and those interested in the arts.
