Zentangle is a trademarked method of doodling. It has been brought to the market place by Rick Roberts and Maria Thomas. They state: "Zentangle is an easy-to-learn, relaxing, and fun way to create beautiful images by drawing structured patterns." Their mantra is one stroke at a time.

In this demonstration event, she will, happily, spend time discussing this new "fashion" which is really relaxing as well as amazing fun. However, in her presentation, Ann hopes to broaden the doodle field to more than just Zentangle by taking it beyond the elementary level of 4'' tiles.

The demonstration will be held at 7 pm on November 14th. The cost for non-members is $5.00. Meetings and demonstrations are free for members.  Workshops are held monthly. Cost for workshops is $85 for non-members and $75 for members. Membership is $25 for one year. Meetings/demonstrations are held at the Middlefield Federated Church, 402 Main Street, Middlefield, CT. www.middletownartguild.org                                                     bivenne@yahoo.com
