Who's on Middletown's Election Day Ballot? Peek at it Before Nov. 5

Learn now which residents who are running for mayor, common council, planning and zoning, board of assessment appeals, treasurer and board of education on Tuesday.

Election Day is six days off — Tuesday — and although we ran a story a couple weeks ago that showed you a sample ballot for Middletown, there have been a couple of updates.

After a lawsuit filed in Middletown Superior Court by Realistic Balance candidates for mayor and common council John Kilian and Fred Carroll, the judge's ruling reversed Town Clerk Linda Bettencourt's decision that knocked two men off the ballot.

Planning and zoning commission candidates Stephen Devoto and Stephen Smith won their bid to be placed on Middletown's election ballot on the Realistic Balance ticket, which meant all the absentee ballots were reprinted adding their names.

Now Democrat Devoto appears twice — also on the Working Families party line. 

Middletown voters can check out the attached ballot to get an idea of the residents who are running for election for mayor, common council, planning and zoning, board of assessment appeals, treasurer and board of education.

On Election Day Nov. 5, polls will be open from 6 a.m. until 8 p.m. in Middletown. The Middletown registrar's office has all the information you need, including polling places and a link to confirm you are registered to vote. Remember to bring a photo ID to your voting location on Election Day.
