Middletown Election Results Will be Tallied in Council Chambers

There's been a change in the way Middletown's Election Day winners will be announced to the public this year.

On election night, Tuesday Nov. 5, voting results will be held in the common council chambers after the polls close at 8 p.m. and not, as in past years, in the town clerk’s office, according to Linda Bettencourt.

Staff will be able to project the results onto the monitors and main screen in the council chambers for all to see as well as on the television in the council lobby.
