Wes Murder Suspect's Psychiatric Evaluation Continued to Aug. 23

State prosecutor told judge Tuesday interviews of Stephen Morgan are done, all that remains is for psychiatric expert to compile his report.

The psychiatric evaluation of the suspect in the 2009 slaying of a Wesleyan University student is still underway, the state's prosecutor said in Middletown court Tuesday, and will be complete by Aug. 23, according to the Hartford Courant.

Marblehead, Mass., resident Morgan, 31, accused of shooting 21-year-old Johanna Justin-Jinich in the university bookstore May 6, 2009, is expected to plead insanity, according to his lawyer, Richard Brown.
