Recipe: No-Bake Cream Cheese 'Cheesecake'

A simple dessert the whole family will enjoy.

If you're looking for a dessert that kids and adults can enjoy together — and even make together — then this no-bake cheesecake recipe is perfect for you!

Let's face it, the Jell-O boxed version is great in a pinch and those you buy at the supermarket are so-so. Why not make your own?

It only uses a few ingredients, all of which you should be able to find at the nearest or other grocery store.

Empty the whipped cream cheese into a large bowl. Add the vanilla extract and sugar, then mix until smooth.

If you want to make it even more fun for the kids, add several drops of food coloring to the cream cheese mixture to give it a colorful tint.

Finally, carefully pour the mixture into the center of the pie crust, then gently spread the mixture to the edges of the pie tin. Garnish with your favorite fruit, if desired, and serve cold. Refrigerate any leftovers.

It's that easy!
