Past Middlesex Land Trust President Accused of Dumping Debris Into River

A Middletown resident whose property on Boston Road is downriver from the historic Savage Arms mill made a complaint in early May.

Former Middlesex Land Trust president Richard Sweet was recently cited by the Department of Environmental Protection after it says he dumped construction waste into the Coginchaug River, the Hartford Courant is reporting.
