Looking for a Real Christmas Tree?

Patch has compiled an interactive map of the tree farms in the state as listed by the Connecticut Christmas Tree Growers Association.

Admit it ... you keep talking about buying a fake Christmas tree. No muss, no fuss. But you know deep down there's nothing better than smelling the scent of evergreen in your house through the December run-up to the holidays.

No matter which corner of Connecticut you hail from, there's plenty of options if you want to cut your own Christmas tree. Check out our interactive map to find a cut-your-own farm.

Click on any Christmas tree icon near you to find the address and operating dates and hours of the farms. Click on the "X" to close the bubble and check out another farm. Zoom in using the "+" and "-" buttons.

A great article and great information! Thank you for posting this up. It's not only important to remember to support our local businesses but also our local farms and agriculture. For many in our local communities this is what they love doing and put in the blood, sweat and tears all year for just a few weeks. Perhaps try out a real tree this year instead of loading up the family to the big box store to get a new artificial one.

This is good and helpful information, but I couldn't locate any of the tree farms in Durham on your map.
