The Citizens Bank Foundation recently granted $5,000 to the Columbus House to support their Middlesex Family Shelter. Columbus House’s Middlesex Family Shelter is a program that provides emergency shelter, transitional housing, rapid re-housing, and case management for families with no other housing options in Middlesex County, Connecticut. Last year this shelter program served 215 people, including 104 children, through their sub-programs. To learn more about the Columbus House, visit www.columbushouse.org.

The grant is part of Citizens Helping Citizens Provide Shelter, the bank’s program that supports innovative programs and organizations that provide people with a roof over their head.
