CROMWELL, CT (July 10, 2014) --- Waterford Hotel Group recently announced the appointment of Kristen Pikula as General Manager for the Courtyard by Marriott in Cromwell, CT, overseeing all operational, sales and administrative aspects of the hotel. Waterford Hotel Group currently manages the 145-room Courtyard, which recently underwent extensive guestroom renovations.


Pikula, a hospitality industry veteran with more than 15 years’ experience, joins the Cromwell team for her most recent position as General Manager at the Residence Inn Marriott in Southington, an award-winning property also managed by Waterford. During her tenure in Southington, Pikula led her team to win numerous awards from both Marriott International and Waterford, including Waterford’s Team of the Year in 2010 and the company’s prestigious Chairman’s Award in 2012. Pikula once also previously held the position of Director of Sales for the Courtyard Cromwell, and brings a level of familiarly and experience to the recently renovated property.

Pikula holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel and Resort Management from the Rochester Institute in Rochester, NY. She currently resides in Burlington, CT.
