Superintendents Vanquish the Mayor in Super Scoop Schools Tech Benefit

Middletown's education admin ladies reigned supreme over the mayor and his aide Wednesday, serving up an astonishing 64 cups of Cold Stone Creamery ice cream to customers in a 30-minute competition.

Mayor Drew and chief of staff Joseph Samolis held their own, creating 16 sundaes between the two of them, in a valiant effort to raise money for Middletown Public Schools technology drive.

Owner Priscilla Harnesk is one of the most philanthropic business owners in the city, routinely hosting such benefits and donating a portion of proceeds to charities. In the spirit of mom's day, she's generously offering a free Like It creation for mothers this Sunday with the purchase of the same size or larger by another family member.
