Meet Your Greens-An Evening on Biomimicry

Meet Your Greens, Middlesex County monthly green drinks networking gathering, will feature architect Randall Anway of New Tapestry LLC and an informal talk on biomimicry. Biomimicry is 'innovation inspired by nature,' according to Janine Benyus, who in 1997 wrote the book bearing the same title.  “In the years since its publication, many are learning that the sustainable path for living on the planet will be found through  ‘models, mentors, and measures’ such as nature provides,” according to Anway . “We can look at the inspiration nature abundantly shares and develop new ways to notice and enjoy this abundance in our daily lives.”

Anway is active in the growing global community of 'biomimeticists' and also carries certifications in green and sustainable design and new urbanist principles (Smart Growth).

Meet Your Greens is sponsored by The Rockfall Foundation and meets every third Tuesday of the month. No registration or reservations required. Venues change. For more information, contact info@rockfallfoundation.org   You can also join us on Facebook (Meet Your Greens).
