The third annual Appetite for Life, a month-long charitable dining program partnering Middlesex Hospital and more than 20 restaurants and businesses in Middlesex County continues when Baci Grill in Cromwell participates June 14. Ten percent of all lunch and dinner purchases will be donated.
Tuscany Grill Restaurant owners Brenda Reilly and Lynne Reilly collaborated with Middlesex Hospital in 2010 to found Appetite for Life in memory of , Brenda’s brother and Lynne’s husband. Reilly died from cancer in November 2009.
“Tim’s courage during his battle with cancer was an inspiration to all of us who loved and admired him,” Brenda Reilly said.
Appetite for Life benefits the hospital’s Center for Survivorship & Integrative Medicine. Each participating business picks a date in June to donate a portion of that day’s proceeds.
