Chamber Offers Businesses Sexual Harassment Prevention Training

Attorneys from the law firm Jackson Lewis will demonstrate how to limit a company's exposure to charges of sexual harassment at the Chamber on Main Street in Middletown.

The Middlesex County Chamber of Commerce will host two sessions of Sexual Harassment Prevention Training on Jan. 14. The first session begins at 8 a.m., and a second begins at 10:15 a.m. 

The definition of sexual harassment, liability (your own and that of the organization), and the prevention of sexual harassment in the workplace will be discussed, according to the Chamber.

Each session meets the State of Connecticut's requirement of two hours of sexual harassment prevention training for supervisors and managers.  Completion of the full two hours is required to receive certificate.
