Chamber Sets New Year's Resolutions For Middlesex County

Middletown's Mattabassett merger, Portland Town Center project, and assisting businesses affected by the Arrigoni Bridge repair work top Chamber President Larry McHugh's 2012 wish list.

The Middlesex County Chamber of Commerce is looking forward to another exciting and prosperous new year by continuing to be proactive in business growth and expansion in order to assure a healthy and strong economy for 2012. I am excited about the many possibilities.

2011 has certainly been a year of challenges, but there have been successes as well. We have been able to get through these challenges because of the support from our Board of Directors,  elected leadership, business and community leaders and, most importantly, our members. The Chamber is looking to build upon the successes of 2011 and I am confident that the only direction to go is up in 2012.

There are so many good things happening in our region’s business community, and I would like to take this opportunity to once again remind our existing and potential members of all of the benefits of Chamber membership. Joining and being part of the Chamber is one of the best ways to truly be involved in what is happening in the Middlesex County business community.

I would like to take this opportunity to share some New Year’s resolutions and promises for 2012. Once again, thanks for your support, and on behalf of the Middlesex County Chamber of Commerce I wish everyone a healthy and happy New Year!
