Center Celebrates 20 Years of Helping Youth Succeed

The 309 South Main St., in the Wilcox Apartment Complex, provides programs for inner-city children and their families in Middletown that reinforce family values and enhance the children's potential.

Programs are designed to improve academic performance for about 30 students ages 6-12 and heighten social awareness and responsibility. The primary emphasis of the center is to provide tutoring and other activities which promote an interest in academic success. The center is open Tuesday to Thursday, 4 a.m. to 7 p.m. from September to June.
