Wadsworth Mansion to Host Holiday Bazaar

The best of the Open Air Market will be there to help put you in the spirit of the season.

The Wadsworth Mansion at Long Hill Estate is hosting their annual Holiday Bazaar on Saturday December 3, 2011 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at 421 Wadsworth Street, Middletown.  Children are free and a $2.00 donation for adults would be appreciated but, not expected at the door.  Door donations will be dedicated to support conservation projects at the Mansion.

Twenty six vendors who sell at the August Open Air Market will be selling their handmade products at the Holiday Bazaar.  Hometown Bakery, a perennial favorite, will be selling their cardamom and cinnamon breads.  Artists for World Peace selling their one-of-a-kind hats.  Silks by Lucia will be offering their hand painted marbleized silk scarves, shawls, and ties. Cold Goats Farm will be selling their angora yarns as well as handmade mittens and hats.  Several jewelers will be tempting shoppers with silver, gold, crystals, and gemstones.

The Middletown Garden Club will be selling Amaryllis plants and the Wadsworth Mansion will be offering a 24k gold plated ornament depicting the front elevation of the building.  Additional offerings include handmade chocolates, homemade pastries, pottery, and clothing.  And Howard's Bakery will be there, too.
