Three more episodes. That’s it. One of the best TV series ever is coming to an end. Like, Hill Street Blues-level amazing. I am appreciative of the little glimpses of some of the old characters, like Matt in Chicago, who looks so great as a confident adult (as opposed to whiny, sniveling Julie who just cries her way across the middle of the U.S.). I am glad that the story arc between Tammi and Epic appears to be done, as I feel they did that only half-heartedly and not very well. I do love those Coach-and-Mrs. moments on the couch. Why does someone always come to the door when they are cuddling supportively? And tonight – Tim Riggins!

King of Dirt, 10 p.m., DIY

“A home renovation has taken its toll on a front yard and driveway.” Ah yes. Been there. I have the worst backyard in the country, in terms of bald patches and bad grass and while it’s never been fabulous, the final nail was the addition we built eight years ago. Never recovered.

PGA Golf, 8:30 p.m., Golf

You could drive up to Cromwell and fight the traffic and the crowds and the sun and the bugs to watch this or you could simply turn on the TV.
