Connecticut Gilbert & Sullivan Society Reschedules "Ruddigore" at MHS

Public invited to additional performance on Monday, November 28 due to "Storm-tober" cancellation.

The destructive storm on October 29, 2011 forced the cancellation of the final performance of Gilbert & Sullivan's "Ruddigore" at Middletown High School, disappointing ticket holders and performers alike.

The show had to be cancelled to prepare the school for service as a community shelter for residents without power. The Connecticut Gilbert & Sullivan Society webmaster was unable to post a cancellation due to the lack of electricity and access to the internet.

To make it possible to see this year's production, we have arranged with Middletown High School for a full screening of "Ruggidore" on Monday, November 28, 2011 at 7:30 p.m.  Ticketholders who had been unable to attend the show's final performance will be accommodated at the door.

This screening is open to the public; free-will donations will be accepted afterward to help replace lost revenue. Principals will be present to meet with the audience.
