Free Film Tonight at Wesleyan: 'Almayer's Folly,' Based on Conrad's Novel

The Adaptation Film Series is a collaboration with the Center for Film Studies exploring the translation of literary text to the screen.

The Friends of the Wesleyan Library Adaptation Film Series presents a viewing of Almayer’s Folly (2011) on Wednesday at 8 p.m. in the Goldsmith Family Cinema, Center for Film Studies, 301 Washington Terrace, Middletown.

The Adaptation Film Series is a collaboration with the Center for Film Studies exploring the translation of literary text to the screen.

Almayer’s Folly is based on Joseph Conrad’s first novel.

Marc Longenecker, Visiting Instructor and Technical and Programming Manager, Film Studies Department, will give brief introductory remarks before the film.

Admission is free for Friends members. Regular admission is $5.
