They Might Be Gypsies make their much awaited return to Middletown, celebrating the release of their second CD! If you saw them this Summer in Crowell Concert Hall, or at Art Farm's Shakespeare in the Grove, you know you're in for quite a treat.
Inspired by the 1930's Gypsy Jazz of Django Reinhardt and Stephane Grappelli, They Might Be Gypsies plays high energy, uplifting music with tremendous passion. They weave together the traditional sounds of early 20th century France with modern influences from Argentina to Barcelona.

Their debut album came out in 2010 to rave reviews and was chosen by the Times Argus as Vermont's Best Instrumental Album of the Year.
They Might be Gypsies features father son duo Greg and Aidan Ryan on guitar. They will be joined on Saturday by Middletown's own Scott Kessel (from Rani Arbo & daisy mayhem) on the Drumship Enterprise - his 100% recycled drumset. Maybe even a special guest too!
