Of Goddess and Expression

Paula Emery of Clinton and Christine Danilowicz of Branford have painted together “en plein air” for several years.  Both artists are currently exploring new creative directions as their styles emerge. 

 

Paula’s mixed media collage series focuses on the many aspects of goddess  archetypes, evolving from her life’s personal journey.

Christine infuses imagination and gesture into her recent landscapes, creating more liberal, expressive paintings – a style she describes as “representational expressionism”.

Their  works are currently on exhibit at Javapalooza,  330 Main Street, Middletown, CT  06457 from December 30th – January 31, 2012.

The opening reception Saturday, January 7th, 2012,  4 PM to 7 PM, is free and open to the public.  Light refreshments will be served.
