Middletown High Playing with Symphony at The Bushnell

Middletown High School proudly announces that they will once again present “Middletown High Goes To The Symphony” on May 11 at The Bushnell Center for the Performing Arts in Hartford.

The students performing with the Hartford Symphony Orchestra are current members of the Middletown High School Concert Band, String Orchestra, and Concert Chorus.  There will also be five student soloists, selected by audition, performing at this event.

This unique educational and cultural event was introduced in 1995 and has grown to become a major cultural activity of the greater Middletown community.  Due to the growing number of students participating, the size of the Hartford Symphony Orchestra itself and the number of friends, family, and community members attending, this program has partnered with The Bushnell Center for the Performing Arts in Hartford, a major cultural and theatrical venue, as host.
