Children and young adults enjoy the opportunity to explore the arts hands-on through creative writing, drawing, painting, photography, mixed media and arts literacy.

Our students enjoy displaying their art in our  open studio sessions and at local art exhibits.


Classes are taught by our artists in residence and special guest artists. All Artspace artists are undergraduate or graduate art students and are inspired by the Reggio approach.

Reggio inspired teaching views children not as empty vessels that need to be filled with facts, but rather as competent and capable individuals – able to develop their own ideas and expressive styles. It’s all about learning and discovering through the process of creating.
