Beautiful Weather for North End Gallery Walk Tonight

Beach-themed photography, sculptures and paintings; and sensitive and expressive multimedia pieces are featured in two art openings tonight in Middletown.


Tonight's North End Gallery Walk features two exciting new gallery show openings and beautiful weather in downtown Middletown.

Middletown Framing, 502 Main Street, is featuring the art of Fethi Meghelli.

This multimedia artist uses immigration scenes, musicians, women with long dresses, bare feet, an airplane in flames and other concepts to create art.

The opening reception for the Sandcastles in the Sky show will also take place from 5 to 8 p.m. at 650 Main Street.

Come check out original artwork from beachy to bizarre! Tasty frozen drinks will be served. Photography, paintings, sculptures, merchandise and much more. Sandcastles will run until Aug. 2, ending with a beach party.

Galleries and shops along the city's Main, Green and Washington streets will be open and featuring art at each location.
