Reminder: 'Yellow-Dot' Program Sign-Up Set

Free program for seniors gives firefighters, police, medical responders quick access to a person's medical history

A free registration program for the Yellow Dot project is March 22, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Water’s Edge Center for Health & Rehabilitation, 111 Church St., Middleotwn

The Yellow-Dot project aims to save lives by giving first-responders — police officers, firefighters and ambulance workers — quick access to a senior citizen's health history. The yellow dot signifies to these first-responders that the information is available in the glove compartment of the person's car.

The registration is free and open to all Middletown residents over the age of 60.
