Middletown Mayor's Ball Promises Glitz, Glamour
The eighth annual event at the Elks Club in Middletown will benefit the Amazing Grace Food Pantry and the Middletown Chorale's Letter from Italy, 1944.
The city's eighth annual Mayor's Ball, a gala black-tie event, that raises funds for the Amazing Grace Food Pantry and the Middletown Chorale's Letter From Italy, 1944, will be held June 1 at the Elks Club in Middletown.
Letter From Italy is a specially commissioned soldier's story told in music and premiering April 28 at 4 p.m. at the Middletown High School Performing Arts Center. The first show has sold out so a Friday night preview has been added.
Tickets are $100 each and include a five-course mail, beer or wine during cocktail hour, and dancing music by the Prelude Band. De Kine Photography will capture images for folks for purchase after the event. Purchase tickets in the mayor's office in city hall on deKoven Drive.
Sponsorships of all types are available. For information, call (860) 344-3401.
