City Churches Offer Good Friday Worship

The Christian Holy Week continues today, Good Friday, the day the faithful observe the crucifixion of Jesus Christ and his death at Calvary.

City offices, the Russell Library, schools and the Senior Center are among those places closed Friday in observation.

Services are observed by churches around Middletown and we’ve compiled several below.

  • is hosting the at noon at 346 Butternut St.
  • has a joint Good Friday service at 7:30 p.m. with and at South Congregational Church at 9 Pleasant Street 
  • is offering a Passion of the Lord at 3 p.m. and Stations of the Cross at 6:30 p.m.
  • celebrates Good Friday at noon with Stations of the Cross with music and reflections on the passion
