Joseph Amenta Completes U.S. Marine Corp Boot Camp at Parris Island, S.C.

Hundreds of new U.S. Marines graduated from Marine Corps Recruit Depot joining the Corps' ranks to carry on its more than 238-year legacy.

Joseph Amenta, a 2013 graduate of Cromwell High School, graduated from boot camp at Parris Island, South Carolina, with the U.S. Marine Corp, on Dec. 6.

Amenta will be stationed in Pennsacola, Florida, studying aviation electronics. He is the son of Susan Anderson and Joseph Amenta of Cromwell, sister of Jessica Amenta of Cromwell and grandson of David Anderson of Berlin, Mary Amenta of Cromwell and the late Sebastian Amenta.

After being transformed by the nation’s toughest boot camp, hundreds of new U.S. Marines graduated from Marine Corps Recruit Depot joining the Corps’ ranks to carry on its more than 238-year legacy.
