The Middlesex Coalition for Children and Middlesex Area Interagency Council to Host Legislative Breakfast

The Middlesex Coalition for Children and Middlesex Area Interagency Council will host its annual Legislative Breakfast to talk about children's issues and the legislative session.  The theme is Support Connecticut’s Children and Families.

The major topics for discussion are: School-Based Arrests, School Reform, Two-Generational Learning Programs, Early Childhood Education.

Guest legislators represent communities county-wide and include: State Senator Dante Bartolomeo, State Rep. Vincent Candelora, State Senator Paul Doyle, State Rep. Matt Lesser, State Senator Art Linares, State Rep. Phil Miller, State Rep. Joe Serra, State Rep. Tom Vicino, State Rep. Melissa Ziobron.

"The legislative breakfast is a great time for our delegation to get together with partners from Middlesex County to discuss the issues that matter most," said Izzi Greenberg, Executive Director of the Coalition.  "We're all interested in giving all children better lives.  These breakfasts are a terrific opportunity to ask the questions that matter and to hear directly from our legislators."

The event will be held on Thursday, March 13th  8 a.m. to 10 a.m. at Middlesex Community College, 100 Training Hill Road Middletown, CT 06457.

There is no RSVP necessary.  The event is open to the public. Breakfast will be served.
