SMOKING CESSATION SERVICES
Would you like to quit smoking? Middlesex Hospital’s Smoking Intervention Service can help. The program offers individual or group counseling and support from a trained smoking cessation specialist to help you kick the habit.
Most insurance providers now cover the cost of smoking cessation services. In addition, as part of a grant from the State Department of Public Health, the Middlesex Hospital Smoking Intervention Service is now offering free nicotine replacement therapy and smoking cessation counseling to state-insured and uninsured patients who would like to quit smoking. Up to eight weeks of nicotine replacement will be offered to state-insured or uninsured patients who register for the program.
