Shoreline Arts Alliance Offers $1,000 Scholarships in the Arts

Shoreline's Top Talent: Scholarships in the Arts Applications are available now to high school juniors and seniors whose primary residence is in one of the 24 towns* served by Shoreline Arts Alliance. This will be the 34th annual presentation of these awards recognizing the talents of our Shoreline Youth in Creative Writing, Dance, Instrumental Music, Vocal Music, Theatre and Visual Arts. A $1,000 award may be presented in each of the six categories. All applicants receive feedback from the panel of judges -- all of whom are professionals in the field that they are jurying.


A completed application must be postmarked or hand delivered by December 18. Auditions and portfolio reviews will be scheduled in late January/early February.

Branford, Chester, Clinton, Cromwell, Deep River, Durham, East Haddam, East Hampton, East Haven, East Lyme, Essex, Guilford, Haddam, Killingworth, Lyme, Madison, Middlefield, Middletown, North Branford, Old Lyme, Old Saybrook, Portland, Salem, and Westbrook
