BREAST CANCER SURVIVORS NEEDED FOR RESEARCH STUDY

Many breast cancer survivors experience cancer-related fatigue –tiredness or weariness related to cancer and/or its treatment – for months, or even years after treatment is completed.  Massage therapy may help to relieve cancer-related fatigue. The Middlesex Hospital Cancer Center is currently studying the impact of massage on cancer-related fatigue.  The study is supported by a grant from the Massage Therapy Foundation

You may qualify for the study if you are:

Participants will receive one massage per week for four weeks and answer questions about their level of fatigue. The information collected will help the researchers learn more about the ability of massage to relieve the symptoms of cancer-related fatigue.
