Public Schoolchildren's Exhibit on View at Wesleyan

The Middletown Public School Art Show is in progress at the Zilka Gallery at Wesleyan University. The show, now in its 32nd year, features work from elementary, middle school and Middletown High School students.

"The works range from multi-media projects based on art history from the elementary schools, to more advance art from middle school students, to fine sculpture, photography, drawings and oil paintings from Middletown High students," said MHS art teacher Patrick Shugrue.

The show is sponsored by the Middletown Public Schools and hours are 1 to 4 p.m. on weekends and noon to 7 p.m. weekdays through March 17.
