Through education, advocacy, and leadership the WI provides an opportunity for women to invest their volunteer time and talents to help in three focus areas: early childhood development; empowering young women; and financial stability.
The WI hosts a bimonthly women’s networking breakfast and an annual free financial literacy workshop. They also distribute small, one-time grants to nonprofit groups that fit into one or more of its focus areas, strive to increase participation of women in volunteering, and run drives to collect books, toiletries, and “gently used” purses.
