Update Aug. 9, 10:38 a.m.
Gus's owner Joseph is reporting a possible sighting of his family's 7-year-old Pomeranian Gus.
We received a call from a woman who said she thought she saw him around St. Coleman’s Church in Middlefield yesterday afternoon. Kate checked it out, but she didn’t find anything helpful.
The owners of GUS have been trying everything — flyers, emails, appeals to Middletown and Middlefield Patch readers — to help bring him home.
The family lives on Cherry Hill Road in Middlefield. Last Tuesday evening, July 24 (around 6 p.m.) Gus went missing from our deck. He is a 7-year-old small Pom who weighs around 10 pounds.
He is a bit on the chubby side. He is a spayed male who recently had his summer haircut, so he looks somewhat like a gold teddy bear.
He was wearing a red harness when he disappeared from the deck. It was not his regular harness and unfortunately his tags weren't on it.
Our family misses him very much and would love to have him returned. Any information
about his whereabouts will be sincerely appreciated. We are all heartbroken and worried for his safety.
If anyone has any information please contact us at (860) 349-3711 or (860) 280-4754.
Thank you very much,
